Data Engineering, LLC (“DE”, “us”, “we”, or “our”) operates the https://civilcommunicator.com website and provides the Civil Communicator co-parenting communication tool (the “Service”).   We will not use or share your Personal Information with anyone except as described in this Privacy Policy.

By using the Service, you agree to the collection and use of your Personal Information and your Communications within the Service in accordance with this Privacy Policy. Unless otherwise defined herein, terms used in this Privacy Policy have the same meanings as in our Terms of Service.

We use Squarespace for our website design and hosting.  Please refer to their Privacy Policy at http://www.squarespace.com/privacy/.  We utilize Knack to manage our databases.  Please review their Privacy Statement at https://www.knackhq.com/privacy/.   We use MoonClerk for the processing of all credit and debit card payments and monetary transactions related to our Service. 5.      Communications

We recognize that all ORIGINAL messages and textual responses you enter into the Service (the “Communications”) are intended to be received by the other party to your account. While the Communications may be revised or rejected in the process of providing the Service and, therefore, will not become an entry into the final communication thread or subsequent transcript, we reserve the right to disclose the original Communications, along with any COMMUNICATIONS between DE AND YOU regarding OUR REVIEW OF specific Communications or the Service IN GENERAL, to the other party or their representatives. 

6.      Compliance with Laws, Defense of DE

We will disclose your Personal Information and/or your Communications where required to do so by law or subpoena, or if we believe that such action is necessary to comply with the law and the reasonable requests of law enforcement or to protect the security or integrity of DE, our Service, or our Representatives.

The security of your Personal Information is important to us, and we strive to implement and maintain reasonable, commercially acceptable security procedures and practices appropriate to the nature of the information we store, in order to protect it from unauthorized access, destruction, use, modification, or disclosure.
